Postpartum Doula Care
Let my support give you the freedom to focus on what really matters: bonding with your baby.
-

Infant Care.
Sometimes the best way to support new parents is to gently rock a baby to sleep while a parent takes a shower or has a minute to themselves. From lactation support to swaddling to learning how to bathe your baby, I’ll make sure you feel comfortable and confident to care for your baby.
-

Support for Parents.
With an open heart, it is my pleasure to be there for you, however that may look. Whether it’s advocating for you at a doctor’s office, helping you name what matters in moments of overwhelm, or tenderly holding space in this transition, it’s my privilege to be a part of your village.
-

Nourishing meals.
Feel nurtured and honored in these fleeting newborn weeks with the gift of nutritious food. Savor delicious meals, snacks and treats prepped and prepared in your kitchen for you and your family. Enjoy being fed so you can focus on feeding your new baby.
-

Light Housework.
Leave the dishes in the sink and dirty clothes on the floor. I am happy to load the dishwasher, fold laundry and sweep up to bring a bit of order back to your space. For deeper cleaning, I’ve got referrals on standby to help you feel at ease.
-

Sibling Integration
Let’s not forget the big siblings as they get used to life and routines with a new baby. Coloring or playing with toddlers and other kids in the house can help kids have good fun and attention while you learn to navigate having multiple cuties in the house.
-

Furry Friends
I love animals and will cheerfully throw a ball in the backyard or fill an empty water bowl to make sure your four-legged family members are cared for as well. I’m allergic to guinea pigs and will not care for snakes, but can help with other pets as needed.
Hi! Let me introduce myself!
I am an amateur cook, a nature lover, a mother of four, a traveler, a wannabe homesteader, a student of languages, a lifelong learner and an active community member.
I have spent the past decade working part-time as a naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist while focusing much of my energy on raising my kids. Moved by my own experiences through birth and as a new mother, I became a childbirth educator (HypnoBirthing) and most recently trained as a postpartum doula. I truly love working with new families and holding space as they get to know their new baby. I find this work both humbling and incredibly fulfilling. While I have my own kids, I recognize that your journey is not mine, and my goal is to help you become the parent that you want to be. I want to empower you and help you find your own way of being with your baby.
I believe everyone deserves to be taken care of in this most vulnerable stage of life, yet our culture pushes the idea that couples should be able to do it on their own. I fully believe that raising a baby takes a village, and I feel honored to have supported many families both professionally and personally as they find their stride in parenthood.

Standard daytime hours are 8:30am-1:30pm, with specific days and times to be agreed upon between the doula and new family.
Overnight Care
Limit two 8-hour overnights per week at $500 per shift. Standard night hours are 8pm-4am, with specific days and times to be agreed upon between the doula and new family.
Additional Services
Acupuncture and naturopathic consultations are outside the scope of a postpartum doula. If you would like to add these services, they will be billed separately.
